Mr. and Ms. Teen Bohol 2012

And the battle for the next Mr. and Ms. Teen Bohol is on. Last December 14, 2012 the Mr. and Ms. Teen Bohol 2012 was held on Bohol Cultural Center and I am one of the chosen people to witness the said event. I with my co-photographer Gerald James Cabal went thier to cheer for our bets and take some awesome pictures of the beautiful and glamorous contestants.

Thier was a vast sea of die hard fans for each contestants showing  thier full support  to thier own bets.

These are the winners of the pageant. 3rd runner - ups are Mr. Baclayon and Ms. Bilar, 2nd runner - ups are Mr. Garcia - Hernandez and Ms. Dauis while Ms. Tubigon and Mr. Panglao was held and crowned Mr. and Ms. Teen Bohol 2012.

Post Processing Challenge with my Sister

This days have been so boring and we have nothing to do with my sister that's why i had decided to take a picture of her and post-processed it with a Manny Librodo inspired post - processing techniques. Manny Librodo is one of my idols in the world of fashion photography. Because his photo's are all creative, vibrant, sharp and amazing.

This are the pictures that I post - processed.

The Challenged was so hard but yet it was fun. Even though it has a small mistakes it is still good because I realesed and adjusted the lightings and quality of the photo.

Island City Mall Cosplay Invasion

Many teenagers nowadays are fond of doing cosplay. Due to the popularity of Japanese Animations or Manga. Cosplay contest and events has already dominated Bohol for the past two years, that's why Island City Mall or ICM has organized to do a cosplay contest here in Bohol in order to cater and entertain the Boholano Cosplay Fanatics.

I with my Shutter Happy Club were there during the said event. And we had taken some cool and amazing pictures of them wearing there beautiful and out of this world costumes.

Gaara (我愛羅?) is a fictional character in the Naruto manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto. Kishimoto designed Gaara as a foil to the series' titular character, Naruto Uzumaki, as the two were born through similar circumstances, but develop vastly different personalities as they deal with their troubled upbringing.[3] Initially introduced as an antagonist and Naruto's rival, the two eventually develop a bond as kindred spirits and become close friends as the series progresses.

In the anime and manga, Gaara is a ninja affiliated with Sunagakure, and is the son of Sunagakure's leader, the Fourth Kazekage. As a fetus, his father attempted to turn him into a human weapon by placing a tailed beast into him, and he was ostracized by the Sunagakure villagers. As a result, he develops into a ruthless killer, slaying others without remorse, and treating his siblings Kankuro and Temari with contempt. His battle with Naruto during the series changes this outlook, and he begins to aid others in order to emulate Naruto. In Part II of the series, he becomes Sunagakure's Fifth Kazekage. Gaara has appeared in several pieces of Naruto media, including the second featured film in the series, the third original video animation, and several video games.

Numerous anime and manga publications have commented on Gaara's character. IGN labeled the disparity between Naruto and Gaara as "emotional" and "a tad creepy".[4] Anime News Network called Naruto's fight against Gaara the high point of the entire series.[5] Among the Naruto reader base, Gaara has been popular, placing high in several popularity polls, and always making it to the top ten characters.[6] Numerous pieces of merchandise have been released in Gaara's likeness, including plush dolls and key chains.

Alisa Bosconovitch (Japanese: アリサ・ボスコノビッチ Hepburn: Arisa Bosukonobitchi?) is a video game character from the Tekken series developed by Namco Bandai, first appearing in Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion. Alisa is an android with detachable body parts. She was created by Dr. Boskonovitch. Alisa and Lars Alexandersson are the main protagonists of the console versions of that game's Scenario Campaign mode. Her surname is commonly misspelled as "Boskonovitch", due to the fact that her creator's surname is spelled that way.

Mikuni Shimokawa (下川 みくに Shimokawa Mikuni?) (born 19 March 1980 in Shizunai, Hokkaido, Japan) is a Japanese pop singer and songwriter. She is best known for her songs used for anime theme music, particularly the opening and ending themes of the Full Metal Panic! series. In addition to her vocal talents, Shimokawa can also play the piano. She is a former member of the girl group Chiccko.

Witchblade is an American comic book series published by Top Cow Productions, an imprint of Image Comics, from 1995 until present. The series was created by Top Cow editors Marc Silvestri and David Wohl, writers Brian Haberlin and Christina Z, and artist Michael Turner.

The series follows Sara Pezzini, a tough-as-nails NYPD homicide detective who comes into possession of the Witchblade, a supernatural, sentient artifact with immense destructive and protective powers. The weapon has bonded with various other women throughout history, the most recent being the series' former co-lead, Danielle Baptiste. Others who have come into contact with the Witchblade include Cleopatra and Joan of Arc. Sara struggles to hone the awesome powers of the Witchblade and fend off those with a nefarious interest in it, especially entrepreneur Kenneth Irons. She also struggles to maintain a personal life.

There have been many spin-off titles which place the Witchblade in other times and settings. The character of Sara Pezzini was also featured in crossovers with characters from other franchises, including Lara Croft, Vampirella, the Justice League, the titular creatures from the Alien and Predator film series, the Magdalena and the cast of Battle of the Planets.

Witchblade was adapted into a moderately successful television series in 2001–2002, starring Yancy Butler as Sara Pezzini.

The title was also adapted into an anime and an unrelated manga series in 2006. Each takes place in a futuristic Japan and features a new blade-wielder, with little resemblance to Pezzini or to each other, in the role. There have been two soundtracks to the manga series (which had a limited print run).

The whole event was fun. The cosplayers are always smiling and are ready to face the lenses of your camera with there beautiful faces and smiles.

Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk 2012

Last October 15, 2012 the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk was held. This event is sponsored by Mr. Scott Kelby a famous photographer and author of his own photography books which is sold worldwide and also by Adobe which is the owner of the famous photo editing software named Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Many Cities all over the world has taken part of the said activity and one of it is Tagbilaran City, Bohol. We joined the said event organized by our friend Mr. Ryan Macalandag, a bohol native photographer who is also the owner of Sideroom Studios. I had done many photo's on that day but only this set of photo's has qualified to my naked eyes.

This is my entry for the event. Because I love the vibrance and sharpness of the photo, and because it so Filipino.

The whole event was fun. First we met at City Square and after that Mr. Macalandag debriefs us and give the route for the event, after that we started the walk and ended on Tagbilaran City Fishport to take pictures of awesome sunsets.

Shutter Happy Club 3rd Anniversary Funshoot

Every month of November, the Shutter Happy Club celebrate its anniversary. For this year the club has organized to do a funshoot with these three beautiful models namely Miss Sara Sarmiento, Miss Tanya Bianca Schuers, and Miss Ann.

These set of photo's were taken by a Pentax k20D dslr camera, 18mm - 50mm f2.8 sigma lens and 2 light reflectors.

What I like about this photo is it so dramatic. I like taking dramatic and vintage photo's. For me they express one's emotions or feelings, because pictures tell a thousand words.

I like this photo because it is so girly and the foreground truly blends with the subject of the picture.

These are my photo's for Miss Ann.

The focus of her eyes are so sharp that makes the picture so cool and expressive.

The whole event was fun and exciting because we have done what our heart wants and it is photography, also we have met with each other again and had made new friends and most of all I have come to make my photography skills much better with the help of Sir Ismael Caldo.

Shutter Happy Club Sembreak Funshoot 2012

Sembreak's one of the coolest days for us college students. But for me it is quite boring because their is nothing to do and especially their is no allowance. That's why we had organized to a Sembreak Funshoot with these two gorgeous and beautiful models namely Miss Annette Sydney Cabagnot and Miss Lara Lumayag.

What I like about this photo's is it is so girly and the background is relaxing to the viewers eyes. This photo's were taken at Morning Hills Loay, Bohol.

After the event we went back to Tagbilaran City and ate on a BBQ House in Burgos Street. We have so much fun during the event.

Bohol Sandugo Festival Photocontest 2012

The province of Bohol celebrates the Sandugo Festival  on the month of July. And every year the Sandugo Festival Association sponsors a photocontest event. The event is held during the actual street dancing and ritual competition day. I with my Shutter Happy Club joined and witnessed the said event. Here are my Photo Entries for the said contest.

The first entry is what I call the Boholana Beauty. I call this such thing because of her cute smile that signifies the true Boholana trait and ability. A Boholana is known to be a fighter, loving, caring, happy and beautiful.

While this entry is what I call Labyug2x dai. I call this such thing because I was practicing my slow shutter techniques and want to enchance the more. When I saw that she's holding a huge fan and is twirling it around it quickly came to my mind to use slow shutter technique to make this image nice and beautiful.

The experience was so fun and exciting. I had come to see many actors and actresses, beautiful ladies and happy boholana faces. I will not stop joining this contest till next year.
